Helping children in the present because they are the future.
Immunizations, school physicals & sports physicals, and well-child visits.
Immunizations
Chickenpox, diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough, measles, mumps, polio, pneumococcal, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B. To name a few.
We offer the full range of vaccines recommended by the CDC for children and teens. We can get your child on track with the immunization schedule and make sure you are notified whenever they are due for another.
School and Sports Physicals
As your child grows, they will need different types of physical examinations for different reasons. The start of a new school year is also a good time to schedule an annual physical to assess growth and development.
A school physical includes the following:
- Vision screening
- Hearing screening
- Immunizations
- Allergy assessment
- Height and weight check
- Posture assessment
- Ear, nose and throat check
- Scalp and skin check
Above and beyond this, if your child is going to participate in sports at his or her school, they may also need a sports physical that may include:
- Blood pressure and heart rate
- Strength assessment
- Flexibility, coordination, reflexes assessment
Well-Child Visit
The well-child visit will cover a complete history of your child’s health that may include information about birth history, prior screenings, diet, sleep, dental care, medical history, and family history. In addition to this, a complete head-to-toe examination may be performed to check for any abnormalities.
